In what many residents consider to be an antidote to the Fulani Herdsmen menace ravaging parts of Benue State, some heavily built and agile young men have started patrolling bushes in the interior.

The militia group is formed and funded by Governor Samuel Ortom in a bid to curb the incessant attacks by Fulani Herdsmen. .

They are trained to patrol all the bushes in the metropolis and empowered to arrest any Fulani herdsman caught grazing openly within the state soil.
