Four DSS, NSCDC operatives nabbed for kidnapping

Four Operatives of the Department of State Services and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps have been arrested by the Police in Osun State for kidnapping.

The operatives abducted a Bureau de Change operator, took him to a bush along Ilesa Road where they collected ransom, the report says.

According to AIT.LIVE, nineteen other suspects were also paraded for committing various criminal offences.

These offences range from kidnapping, conspiracy, armed robbery, murder, cultism and unlawful possession of firearms.

One Ajibola Ogunibi who was also paraded was said to be the one who allegedly connived with the DSS and NSCDC operatives to kidnap a Bureau De Change operator.

The State Commissioner of Police, Wale Olokode, addressed journalists said, “Ajibola Ogunibi allegedly connived with some DSS and NSCDC operatives to kidnap a Bureau De change operator and demanded ransom.

He was however given 15,000 naira by the operatives after the ransom was paid.
