Former Vice President Atiku makes mistake over Dream Team VI on Twitter
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Saturday night made a forgiven mistake as he took to Twitter to celebrate Nigeria’s U-23 football team, fondly called the Dream Team VI, victory against Denmark at the ongoing Rio 2016 Olympics in Brazil.
The coach Samson Siasia team had beaten their European opponents 2-0 to qualify for the semi-final of the football event in Rio.
After the match, the former Vice President wrote on his official Twitter handle, @AtikoAbubakar, “Against all odds, the Eagles have made it to the Olympic semi-finals. #Proud #NigeriaSpirit”.

Instead of Dream Team VI, Atiku tweeted the Eagles. This could be forgiven considering many Nigerians mistake the Dream Team VI as the Eagles.
Also, with Super Eagles midfielder Mikel John Obi captaining the under-23 side, one could be tempted to call the Dream Team VI as the Eagles.
Nigeria will play Germany on Tuesday night to try to qualify for the final.
