FG sends delegation to victims of IDP camp bombing in Borno State (Photos)
Following the sad incident that occurred, on Tuesday, at an Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp in Borno State, where Nigerian Air Force jet mistakenly dropped a bomb on innocent civilians, the Federal Government this afternoon (Wednesday) sent a delegation to pay the victims a condolence visit at the Specialist Hospital in Maiduguri.
This was made known in the pictures that emerged on the internet few hours ago.
The Minister for Information, Lai Mohammed was spotted among other top government functionaries that visited the hospital to show sympathy to the victims of the blast.
It was reported that the accidental air strike happened at about 9am in Rann, as aid workers were distributing food to Internally Displaced Persons. The costly mistake claimed the live of no fewer than 100 innocent persons in the camp.
