A forum of chief executives of federal parastatals has announced plans to mobilise 10 million votes for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
According to Leadership, the forum’s convener and National Board for Technology Incubation chief, Kazeem Kolawale Raji, disclosed the target during a visit to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume.
Raji said the group would pursue the target through grassroots engagement and networks connected to federal agencies across the country.
He said the forum also wants to improve communication about the government’s policies and programmes.
CEOs plan grassroots mobilisation
Raji said the group intends to engage Nigerians through what he described as lawful, peaceful and issue-based mobilisation.
The forum also plans to document and communicate what it considers the achievements and reforms of the Tinubu administration.
Akume was represented during the meeting by Permanent Secretary for Political and Economic Affairs, Bekearedebo Augusta Warrens.

Akume praised the forum and said its proposed 10 million-vote target could be achieved.
“In your various domains where your power is operative, ensure that people become aware of these achievements,” he said.
He urged members to take the administration’s message to grassroots communities and counter what he described as misinformation surrounding government policies.
“This reform policy is not meant to imprison or impoverish Nigerians,” Akume said.
He also urged the forum to develop a structured framework for sustaining its activities and communication ahead of the election.
