Instagram users have criticised DJ Cuppy, for emphatically stating that she is the first Nigerian to own a Samsung Galaxy S10.

Angry IG users questioned the importance of the expensive phone to the price of garri, rice, and other food commodities in the market.

This is coming after DJ Cuppy took to her IG page to boast, She wrote;

“I’m officially the FIRST person in Nigeria to own the Samsung #GalaxyS10 + ? Thank you @Samsung_Nigeria THIS PHONE IS A GAME CHANGER! Pre-Order yours NOW!”

Many lambasted her for showing off because her billionaire father, Femi Otedola, owns Forte Oil and can afford the finest things of life.

Some also argued that DJ Cuppy was just showing off for the gram as the phone has not even arrived in Nigeria.

WuzupNaija reports that the Samsung Galaxy S10, S10+ and S10e can be pre-ordered now, with shipping scheduled to begin on 7 March.
