Faeces take over road as sewage truck falls on Lagos bridge [Photos]
A truck conveying faeces fell on the Odo Iyalaro bridge around Ojota area in Lagos on Monday causing traffic gridlock, the Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command has said.
The Odo Iyalaro bridge is the bridge linking Ojota and Maryland.
The RRS shared photos of the accident on its Twitter handle and advised motorists plying the route to drive with caution.
The squad tweeted:
“RRS officers assisting in traffic control on Odo Iyalaro Bridge where a truck conveying excreta fell and covered up a large portion of the road.
“Emergency responders are working to move the vehicle off the Bridge. Motorists are advised to drive with caution.”
