Excited Ghanaian fans organise thanksgiving service for Chelsea

Happy that Chelsea FC of England won the 2016/2017 Premier League title after last season’s woes, the Blues fans in Ghana are organising a thanksgiving service.

An invite to the event, issued by Rev Azigiza, Ghana Chelsea Community and all Chelsea FC Supporters in Ghana, went viral this weekend.

According to the invite, the service will hold on 4th June 2017 at the Living Streams Int., Behind Zenith College, Trade Fair.

The Blues had finished in 10th place after a woeful performance under Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese was sacked in December 2015, after nine defeats in 16 games left The Blues at 16th position and battling relegation from the top flight.

Chelsea, however, put last season’s woes behind them under new manager, Antonio Conte, winning the EPL title with two games to spare.
