JUST IN: Ex-Lagos SSG Adenrele Adeniran-Ogunsanya dies after brief illness
A former Secretary to the Lagos State Government Princess Adenrele Adeniran-Ogunsanya has passed away on Tuesday after a brief illness.
Adenrele who is the first daughter of a prominent First Republic politician Prince Adeniran Ogunsanya died at age 74.
The Nation reported that the chieftain of the All Progressives Congress Hon. Fouad Oki confirmed her death.
Adenrele served as Lagos’ SSG under former Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) between 2007 and 2011.
Her father was a prominent leader of the then NCNC and a close-knit friend of Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe.
Adenrele was awarded the ‘Omowonuade’ title in Owu Kingdom in Abeokuta by Olowu of Owu, Dr. Olusanya Dosunmu (Amororo II) in 2015.
