Ese Brume clinches silver at 2022 World Athletics Indoor Championships
Nigerian long jumper, Ese Brume, bagged a silver medal at the 2022 World Athletics Indoor Championships.
Brume who won Nigeria’s first medal (bronze) at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games in Japan came second behind Serbia’s Ivana Vuleta.
The Serbian made a world-leading jump of 7.06m to defend her World Indoor Championship long jump title in front of her home crowd in Belgrade.
Brume made 6.85m and 6.67m in her third and final jump to claim second at the event.
