Pepsi unveils Rema, Ayra Starr as brand ambassadors
Pepsi Nigeria has announced Mavin Records stars, Rema and Ayra Starr, as their new brand ambassadors.
The popular soft-drink brand made the big announcement on Saturday afternoon during the #PepsixBBN task on the Big Brother Naija reality TV show.
WuzupNigeria gathered that the new brand ambassadors will be performing LIVE at the #BBNaija eviction show tomorrow, Sunday.
Welcoming the ‘Soundgasm’ crooner on it’s official Instagram page, Pepsi said, “Another banger, for the love of music! Welcome to the family @heisrema.”
“You can’t kill her vibe cos’ it’s the Pepsi vibe. Welcome to the family @ayrastarr,” Pepsi captioned a post shared to its 237k Instagram followers.
The duo joins the likes of Tiwa Savage, Teni, Burna Boy, DJ Cuppy, Wizkid, Davido, and Tekno, etc in the Pepsi Family.
Top celebrities including singer, D’Prince, who discovered Rema, congratulated his protege on bagging the endorsement deal.
“More Wins!! Congratulations @heisrema on your new endorsement deal with @pepsi… We Just getting started! Big up the team,” D’Prince captioned on Instagram alongside a photo of the singer signing his Pepsi contract.
