US rapper, Lil Wayne, in set to be investigated by the police for allegedly pulling an assault rifle on one of his bodyguards during a fight at his home in Los Angeles.
TMZ, quoting law enforcement sources, reported that the rapper, real name - Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. had a fall out which later escalated to physical violence with one of his guards at his Hidden Hills, CA home.
The guard was said to have told the cops that the fight started with Wayne accusing him of taking photos and leaking them to the media.
Wayne reportedly walked him out of his house after the initial dispute, the guard claimed, adding that the rapper dramatically escalated things by brandishing his AR-15 when he(the guard) went to the bathroom first.
The guard was said to have called the police at the gated community's guard shack after exiting the house.
However, contrary to the guard's story, a source close to Wayne strongly denies the incident even happened, adding that Wayne doesn't even have a gun.
The cops were unable to get Wayne's side of the story because he was already gone when they got to the house.
Police sources told the publication that the guard had no marks on his body or injuries from the alleged physical confrontation, adding that they have issues with the guard's story.
The guard also does not want to press charges against Wayne, according to the police who said they will investigate the case regardless of their doubts about the allegations.
