Filmmaker Imoh Umoren has tackled a tweep who claimed anyone born in Africa is automatically disadvantaged.
The tweep who goes by the name @kimathiInc had listed a few things like education, background, wealth and connections that could hinder a person’s progress.
He said, “Once you’re born in Africa life is automatically leading you to 1-0. If you are not educated 2-0, if your parents don’t have money 3-0 and if you don’t have connections that’s 40-0. At this point you are left with no option but to hustle everyday in order to equalize.”
But Umoren countered his claims stating poverty abounds everywhere. He urged everyone to travel far and wide and not just to fancy places to see the truthfulness of his statement.
He said, “This is not entirely true.Life happens to everybody no matter what the countryyou live in.
“I implore you guys to travel far and wide and not just to the fancy places. You’ll see that poverty abounds everywhere.”
