Hours after publishers of DC Comics depicted Superman having a same-sex romance in its new edition, Nollywood actor Williams Uchemba has urged parents to be extremely watchful of what their children read.
WuzupNigeria earlier reported that readers were shocked to learn on Monday that Jonathan – son of iconic Superman charatcer, Clark Kent and Lois Lane — is coming out as bisexual on the pages of DC Comics.
In a post on his Instagram account on Tuesday, Uchemba pondered when sexual material in cartoons and comics became popular for youngsters .
This is jut as he urged parents to be wary of the shows their children watch since they learn via their eyes.
Uchemba said, “Since when did sexual content start being cool in kids cartoon?
“Parents protect your children at all cost. The enemy is completely out to discipline the ones he can especially through what they watch.
“He knows children hear with their eyes and he has his plans well structured.”
