Nollywood actress Lilly Afegbai has opened up on her ordeal with the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS.

Sharing on Instagram, Lilly Afegbai stated that she was chased by some SARS operatives to the point that she bashed her car against a poll.

She wrote:

“It’s funny how sometimes when I go through the worse, I don’t post on social media.

Social media is a place where you really don’t know who’s really happy for you but you just go with the flow.

Sometime last month I and @_kehindebankole almost lost our lives trying to escape SARS in Lekki phase 1 around that dowen college road.
They came at us like armed robbers blocking my car and all.

My survival instinct wasn’t sure if they were thieves because they wore black and had guns. I drove off and they kept chasing us till we ran into a pole and gate.

They thought our enemy was dead so they ran off.

My car was damage but we survived and I managed to get us home safe.
All we did that night was cry and praise God.

The next day we went for check up, and we were good.
Sharing this story because the fact that everyone came together to fight is amazing but it must keep on.
We need action, word of mouth isn’t enough.”
