#EndSARS hoodlum who stole AK-47 from police station arrested for armed robbery
The Edo State Police Command has arrested one of the hoodlums who hijacked the EndSARS protest and robbed a police station.
The hoodlum identified as Sunday Effiong was captured on video leaving the Oba Market Police Station with an AK-47 rifle belonging to the force during the protest.
The police said Effiong formed a robbery gang after the protest and had been terrorising Benin and environs.
He and his gang snatch an Audu 80 car and attacked a petrol station before they met their end.
A team of policemen who had gotten wind of their activity stormed the petrol station with heavy gunfire.
Two of the robbers were shot dead while one escaped. Effiong was arrested in the process.
