A video of two Yoruba women rocking matching outfits, a phenomenon popularly known as asoebi around Nigeria has surfaced online.

The women were seen at the back seat of a car getting ready, excitedly to rock a party. Sounds of talking drum from party praise singers filtered in as the women give one another pep-talks before the Owambe.

“There is only one life to live,” one of the women said.
“Aye ko pemeji,” the second woman said, translating what her partner said in English to Yoruba.
They echoed the sentiments shared in Olu Maintain’s 2007 hit track Yahooze, saying as people from Ijebu origin, Monday to Thursday is for work while Friday and the rest of the weekend is for partying.

The video was posted online by a twitter user and it has since gone viral.
