Published

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Adegoke Fayoade, has assured the state’s residents of maximum security during the Eid-el-fitr celebrations and beyond.

This was contained in a statement shared by the spokesman of the force, Benjamin Hundeyin, on Tuesday morning via his X handle (formerly Twitter).

WUZUP reported that 303 suspects were arrested on Saturday over alleged phone theft in some parts of Lagos.

Fayoade directed all the Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, Tactical Commanders, and Intelligence Officers to take charge of their communities and identify strategic and vulnerable across the state to forestall any security breach.

The statement reads, “CP Fayoade, therefore, assures that the emplaced security architecture will be closely monitored and reviewed as required to sustain the existing peace in Lagos State.”
