Edo Election: PDP candidate, Gov Obaseki, cast his vote
Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has cast his vote at Emokpae Model Primary School in Oredo Local Government Area of the state.
The governor who is running for a second term was accompanied by his wife, the First Lady of Edo State, Betsy Obaseki.
Sahara Reporters reported that thugs loyal to Obaseki chased away agents of other political parties at the polling unit.
The governor, who was on the queue, is said to have watched on as the thugs were in action.
His main opponent in the election, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, has already cast his own vote.
The All Progressives Congress, APC, voted at polling unit 26, ward 5 in Iguododo community, Orionhwon Local Government Area.
