‘Duduke’ was special and personal to me- Nigerian singer, Simi
Nigerian singer, Simisola Ogunleye, professionally known as Simi has revealed how making her latest hit single, Duduke made her feel.
The 32-year-old mother of one was addressing her primordial expectations about the single, which saw her flaunt her physic shortly before she eventually had her first child with fellow singer, Adekunle Gold.
She took to her verified Instagram page and wrote;
“I’ve debated with myself for months on whether or not I should document my personal experience as a working, pregnant woman,” she wrote on Instagram.
“I still haven’t decided, because I’m still trying to navigate my current chemistry with social media.
“I’ll say this though, making this song was special for me, because it was personal, but I honestly had no idea it would be as huge as it is. I didn’t know it would resonate with so many people.”
