Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has announced plans to take legal action against the founder and senior pastor of Grace Nation International Church, also known as Liberation City, Pastor Chris Okafor, over an alleged breach of promise to marry her before eventually marrying another woman.

Ogala made the claims during a live session with media personality Daddy Freeze, where she spoke in detail about her past relationship with the cleric and the circumstances that reportedly led to their separation.

She explained that the alleged commitment from the pastor significantly influenced decisions she made at the time and now serves as the foundation for her proposed court case.

“This is not about emotions anymore; it’s about promises made and promises broken,” Ogala said during the live discussion. “He told me he would marry me, and I believed him.”

During the session, Daddy Freeze questioned Ogala about her actions while she was still legally married to her former husband. In response, the actress admitted to engaging in intimate phone conversations with Pastor Okafor during that period but maintained that the relationship did not become physical.

“Was I chatting intimately with him while I was married? Yes, I did,” she admitted. “I’m not proud of it, but I want to be honest. There was no physical relationship then.”

Ogala further alleged that she is in possession of evidence to back her claims, including chat messages and screen recordings. According to her, one of the recordings allegedly displays both the date and the recipient’s phone number.

“I have chats, screen recordings, and even a video that clearly shows the date and who I was talking to,” she stated. “I didn’t imagine any of this.”

Daddy Freeze, however, cautioned her against making such materials public, warning that doing so could result in legal consequences related to privacy violations.

“If you put those things out there, you could be sued,” Daddy Freeze cautioned during the live session.

Despite the warning, Ogala said she was undeterred, adding that her legal counsel had already been informed and was prepared to pursue the matter.

“My lawyer is aware of everything,” she said. “Let’s go to court. I’m ready to present my evidence and let the law decide.”

She also alleged that Pastor Okafor’s decision to marry another woman, despite what she described as repeated assurances made to her, amounted to a betrayal she intends to contest through legal means.

As of the time of filing this report, Pastor Chris Okafor has not issued any public response to the allegations.
