Barely a month after Davido’s Logistics Manager, Afeare Israel tendered a public apology to DJ Cuppy, daughter of billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola over his libellous comment, the disk jockey announced on Friday that she has pardoned him.

Cuppy disclosed on her Instastories that she has now officially forgiven Israel.

Recall that DJ Cuppy had threatened to sue Israel after he accused her of owing Zlatan Ibile for his collaboration in their 2019 hit song, “Gelato”.

DJ Cuppy went on to make good her threat as her lawyers, Babajide Koku & Co. wrote to Israel, demanding a public apology over the alleged libellous statements against their client.

In a letter dated February 10, Cuppy’s lawyers stated that there was no contractual breach in her deal with Zlatan.

The lawyers demanded that Israel write a public letter of apology withdrawing his claims, and also a letter of undertaking to cease and desist from publishing libellous allegations against DJ Cuppy all of which should be done within seven days,

Israel complied and took to his Instagram page to apologise to DJ Cuppy for making the false statement regarding her strained relationship with Zlatan Ibile.
