World champion Daniel Dubois will defend his International Boxing Federation heavyweight title against former champion Joseph Parker in a highly anticipated fight in Saudi Arabia on February 22, 2025.

Dubois, 27, claimed the IBF belt after a stunning victory over Anthony Joshua in September. The Londoner’s win over Joshua in just five rounds was a major career milestone, confirming his status as a world-class fighter.

Joseph Parker, 32, from New Zealand, held the WBO heavyweight title between 2016 and 2018 before losing it to Joshua. Parker has been on a four-fight winning streak, including impressive wins over Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang, earning him this title shot.

The upcoming fight is part of a star-studded boxing event in Riyadh, which also features several other high-profile matchups. Artur Beterbiev will defend his undisputed light-heavyweight title in a rematch with fellow Russian Dmitry Bivol. Beterbiev became the first undisputed light-heavyweight champion since 2002 after beating Bivol by majority decision in October.

In other bouts, undefeated Hamzah Sheeraz, 25, will challenge for his first world title against WBC middleweight champion Carlos Adames. Sheeraz has an impressive record of 21 wins, with 17 of them by knockout.

British light-heavyweights Joshua Buatsi and Callum Smith will face off for Buatsi’s WBO interim title. Smith, a former super-middleweight champion, is looking to bounce back from a loss to Beterbiev earlier this year.

Other exciting fights include Shakur Stevenson defending his WBC lightweight title against Floyd Schofield, and Zhilei Zhang facing Agit Kabayel for the interim WBC heavyweight title.

With such a stacked card, February’s event is set to be one of the biggest in boxing history.
