Nigerian singer Dammy Krane, whose real name is Oyindamola Emmanuel, has been granted bail, according to an update from the Miami-Dade County Criminal Justice Online System.

Dammy Krane, pleaded not guilty to the charges and demanded a trial by jury and also choose the option of a waiver pre-trial conference.

Some days ago, his family released a statement that alleged that the show promoter that booked his flight ticket, is responsible for the credit card scam.

Krane who had received his fair share of criticisms from colleagues and fans was said to have met his bail conditions set at $7,500. After his arrest, Krane had hinted in a series of tweets, that there was more to the news than what was making the rounds online.

The court hearing will come up on June 23, 2017, at 9:15 am.  His defence attorney has changed from Deborah Prager to Courtney Erik.
