Covid-19: FCT announces discharge of 11 patients
The Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA, has announced the discharge of 11 Covid-19 patients in Abuja.
The announcement was made by the FCT Minister, Malam Muhammed Musa Bello in a tweet on Saturday.
He stated that the total number of discharged patients in the FCT is now 89.
The tweet reads, “Dear FCT, I am happy to announce the successful treatment and discharge of eleven (11) COVID19 patients from the Isolation and Treatment Centre in Abuja.

“The total number of discharged patients in the FCT is now 89.
“I urge everyone to follow the laid down guidelines in order to stay safe.”
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control on Saturday confirmed 176 new cases of coronavirus disease in the country. This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 5621.
Also, in the midst of the ravaging Coronavirus pandemic, the Bauchi State Government has said that 41 persons died of Lassa fever from January to date in the state.
