Coach Rohr, Pinnick visit Ikeme
President of the Nigeria Football Federation Amaju Pinnick and Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr visited ailing Nigeria goalkeeper Carl Ikeme on Saturday in England.
Ikeme, who made his Super Eagles debut in September 2015 in Tanzania, has been diagnosed with acute leukaemia and has already started treatment.
There has been an outpouring of love and support for the Wolverhampton Wanderers shot stopper since the shock diagnosis.
His English Championship club announced benefit games to support him and he will keep his No 1 shirt for this season.
Rohr is also to visit Chelsea star Victor Moses, who has undergone a toe surgery, which kept him out of last month’s AFCON qualifier at home against South Africa.
