Christ Embassy founder Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has unveiled a range of electric vehicles under the Tsion brand. In fact, Tsion electric cars are the flagship products showcased in this expansion. This marks the church’s expansion into the technology and automotive sectors.
According to The Punch, Oyakhilome presented the vehicles during The New Economy Unveiling 2026 with Pastor Chris. This initiative is focused on innovation, enterprise and economic opportunities, with Tsion electric cars serving as a prominent example of this new direction.
The unveiling featured several models under the new brand, including the Tsion Passion, Tsion Falcon, Vision series, Vision Coupe and OG series.
Oyakhilome showcases Tsion lineup
During the presentation, Oyakhilome took attendees through the different vehicles and explained some of the ideas behind the emerging brand. Moreover, Tsion electric cars generated considerable interest among attendees at the event.
He revealed that some parts of the cars were still being refined, including aspects of the steering-wheel design. This indicates that development work on the vehicles was continuing.
Oyakhilome also explained that the name “OG” used for one of the vehicle series means “Of God.”
The unveiling attracted attention online after videos from the event circulated on social media. As a result, viewers reacted to the church’s move beyond its traditional religious activities into technology and automobile development. It is clear that Tsion electric cars have positioned the church at the forefront of innovation in this sector.
Bolaji Idowu reacts to unveiling
Harvesters International Christian Centre founder Pastor Bolaji Idowu, who attended the event, praised the development. He described it as an example of how the church could demonstrate influence beyond preaching.
“My mind has been stretched. This is what it means to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world,” Idowu said.
He argued that Christians should also be involved in creating solutions. They should build enterprises capable of making an impact in society.
“We are not waiting for them to give us a solution. The church has come to its place; now they have no other option than to listen to us,” he said.
“We are not just preaching the gospel; we are demonstrating the ability of the Spirit, even in the marketplace.”
Christ Embassy expands innovation push
The Tsion unveiling represents another step in Christ Embassy’s broader focus on innovation and economic empowerment.
Through The New Economy Unveiling programme, the church has sought to encourage participation in business, technology and other sectors. This is beyond conventional ministry activities.
The introduction of an electric vehicle range places automobile development among those areas. This comes at a time when interest in electric mobility continues to grow.
Questions remain over pricing, production
While several Tsion models have now been publicly showcased, key commercial details have yet to be announced.
Information on the vehicles’ prices, production or assembly location, technical specifications and when members of the public will be able to place orders has not yet been confirmed.
The unveiling therefore serves primarily as an introduction to the Tsion range. Further details are expected as development of the vehicles progresses.
