The Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) protesters were once again blocked from marching to the president’s office on Tuesday.

But their reaction this time was epic.

When the group made their move on Tuesday – 876 days since more than 200 girls were kidnapped from their hostels in Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State the BBOG – it was not only the police that blocked it from achieving its aim. There was another group of protesters working against the BBOG.

The group members wore t-shirts branded with “With Buhari we stand”. The group which was reportedly “rented” by some people close to the presidency blocked the BBOG movement.

The BBOG group was not deterred. They stuck their message up the entrance of the president’s office.

“At the entrance to the Villa we meet a group w/ polo shirts carrying We Stand,” the group tweeted. “We quietly post images of our missing 218 at the Villa entrance.”
