Cameroonian #BidoungChallenge breaks internet

The internet has seen all sorts of #Challenges. From the #IcebucketChallenge, to the #MannequinChallenge and now its #BidoungChallenge.

The #BidoungChallenge started in Cameroon after the country’s Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Pierre Ismael Bidoung Mpkatt was photographed bowing down to greet the country’s president Paul Biya.

The scene played out at the reception in honor of the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon, who came second behind Nigeria’s Super Falcons at the 10th edition of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (AWCON). The respectful gesture sparked commentary among Cameroonians and the comentary gradually dovetailed into mockery.

Now they have taking to the social media with different hillarious memes and poses in reference to the ministers gesture… Welcome the #BidoungChallenge from Cameroon.
