Burnley dent Tottenham’s top-four chance

Burnley have defeated Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 at the Turf Moor Stadium on Wednesday night, denting their chances for a top-four finish.
Antonio Conte’s men ended their three-game losing streak with a stunning 3-2 victory over league leaders Manchester City on Saturday but failed to break the resilience of their hosts.
Sean Dyche’s men kept the likes of Harry Kane and Son Heung Min at bay for over an hour with the visitors having more of the possession.
However, Ben Mee found the back of the net with a 71st-minute header that sealed gave the hosts the crucial three points.
Spurs are now seven points adrift of fourth place with two games at hand including one against London rivals, Arsenal.
Conte’s men have now lost four of their last five matches while Burnley have won two consecutive games, moving two points adrift the drop zone with three games at hand.
