Marcus Rashford involved in car accident after Burnley win

Marcus Rashford was involved in a car accident on Saturday evening after United’s win at Burnley.

The incident is said to have occurred after the England star left United’s training ground. Rashford was driving his Rolls Royce when he was involved in a head-on collision with another vehicle.

Images of the aftermath have been shared on social media showing a dent to a car following the crash.

Rashford was shaken but unhurt following the accident and did not require emergency medical attention.

However, teammate Bruno Fernandes, was nearby and checked on his teammate as onlookers watched on.

The England star, who collided into a bollard after the collision, checked on the other driver after climbing out of his vehicle.

Police were called to the scene and breathalysed both drivers as a routine measure and no further action was taken.

Rashford sent a message to his followers on social media, saying, “3 points on the road! I’m alright guys thanks for the messages.”

Earlier on Saturday, United had secured a narrow but valuable victory at Burnley to get their season back on track.
