Buhari vows zero tolerance to electoral malpractices in 2023
The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), on Tuesday, asked politicians interested in contesting the 2023 general elections to work hard because he would not allow electoral malpractices.
He asked those who may be planning to use their offices or security agencies to subvert the will of the people to have a rethink because he would not allow them to have their ways.
Buhari handed down the warning while receiving top government officials who visited him at his official residence inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja, to commemorate his 77th birthday.
WuzupNigeria reports that Aisha Buhari, the wife of the President, Maj. Gen. Muhamadu Buhari (retd.), has eulogised him on his 77th birthday.
In a post shared by the First Lady via her Twitter handle, @aishambuhari, she hailed Muhamadu Buhari for being her ‘incorruptible GMB.’
Her post reads:
“Happy Birthday to MY incorruptible GMB. I wish you Allah’s Guidance Protection and Good Health to continue steering the affairs of our dear nation.
“Long Live GMB Long Live Federal Republic of Nigeria !”
