Buhari receives newly sworn-in Niger president at Aso Villa
Nigeria’s President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has on Monday, played host to the newly sworn-in President of Niger Republic, Mohamed Bazoum, at the State House in Abuja.
The Presidency shared a video on Twitter, which captured the moment both leaders met at the State House.
The video was captioned thus:
“Arrival of the recently sworn-in President of Niger Republic, Mohamed Bazoum, at the State House. He’s welcomed by President @MBuhari.”
The governors of Kebbi, Borno, Sokoto, Yobe and Zamfara states were also present at the State House to receive Mohamed Bazoum according to the Special Assistant to the President on Digital and New Media, Tolu Ogunlesi.
