Buhari floors Atiku in Niger
President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress has won the Presidential elections in Niger State.
He polled 612,371 to beat the People’s Democratic Party candidate, Atiku Abubakar, who had 218,052 votes.
Announcing the results at the INEC office in Minna by 12.30 am, Tuesday, the state collation officer and Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Lokoja, Professor Angela Freeman Mary, put the total valid votes at 851,937
According to her, total votes cast was 896,976 while 45039 votes were rejected.
She also announced that 911,964 voters card was accredited and 2,375,568 were registered voters cards.
