#BenueMourns: Over 70 dead from herdsmen attack buried in Benue
More than 70 people were on Thursday buried in Benue State.
The mass funeral service was conducted for those who died in the conflicts between nomadic herdsmen and farmers in Benue.

Though the clashes between the cattle herders, mostly from the Fulani ethnic group, and farmers has been ongoing sings 2013, but it has intensified greatly in the last two years.
Since the New Year, the number of clashes has been witnessed with more than 100 deaths reported in Benue and Taraba states.

Fighting has been particularly heavy in Benue state, where 80 people have been killed and 80,000 displaced.
