Afrobeats superstar Asake has announced that his highly anticipated fourth studio album, titled “M$NEY,” will be released on May 1, 2026.
The singer made the announcement on Instagram with a cryptic video teasing the album’s cover art, captioned: “M$NEY MAY 1 #MM.”
The reveal sparked excitement among fans, many of whom have been anticipating a new musical project following his recent run of singles and collaborations.
“M$NEY” arrives on the back of a consistent run of releases from the singer, including tracks like “Why Love” and “Badman Gangster” featuring Tiakola, as well as “Worship,” a cross-genre collaboration with global electronic music producer DJ Snake. Earlier in 2026, he also teamed up with Wizkid for a joint project.
The award-winning artiste is one of the leading voices in the Nigerian music industry, with numerous nominations and accolades for his craft. He was nominated for last year’s Grammy Awards in the Best African Music Performance category but lost to Tems.
The forthcoming album will be Asake’s fourth album in just a few years, following the success of “Mr Money With The Vibe” (2022), “Work of Art” (2023), and “Lungu Boy” (2024).
As anticipation builds ahead of its May 1 release, “M$NEY” is already shaping up to be one of the most talked-about Nigerian albums of 2026.
