Arsenal’s new frontman, Alexis Sanchez, has justified the manager’s faith in him by scoring an impressive freekick against Everton in their Tuesday night Premier League match.
The Chilean’s shot deflected off Ashley Williams’s legs before skidding past the home goalkeeper’s legs for the Gunners’s first goal of the game.
With this strike, Sanchez has had a hand in 27 goals in 27 games for Arsene Wenger’s side this season as contract talks between the striker’s team and the club remains uncertain.
Football fans and the club’s loyalists have also taken to the social media to express their joy at their star man’s performance already even as the game is still too early to call.
As at the time of filing this report, 37′, Arsenal were still leading by a lone goal while playing away to the Toffees.
