A Republic of Benin national, identified as Adoja Tanaku, has been arrested by the Oyo State Police Command for allegedly beheading his friend in Ibadan.

Tanaku was said to have beheaded Joseph, who is also a Benin national, after a brief argument in Bakatari area in Ido Local Government Area of Ibadan.

An eyewitness disclosed that when the duo engaged in a hot argument, the middle-aged man went into his room and took a cutlass and first attacked the deceased in the arm before going straight for the head on the second attack, thus, beheaded him.

The State Public Relations Officer, Olugbemiga Fadeyi, who the two incidents to journalists disclosed that the deceased and Joseph were Beniniose.

He said Joseph is already in the police net while the corpse of the victim has been deposited in the morgue of Adeoyo Hospital, Ibadan.
