Amoke Alaga leads wedding MCs’ preparation for post COVID-19 era with ‘Exceptional Alaga Conference’

The Chief Executive Officer of Amoke Alaga Events, Olaoluwakitan Abiola, is set to lead a host of Yoruba traditional wedding masters of ceremonies and other resource persons to feature at this year’s edition of The Exceptional Alaga Conference.

With the theme, ‘Re-invention in the Alaga Industry’, the conference, according to a statement by the organisers, will address ways professional traditional wedding masters of ceremonies can better position themselves for relevance in the post-COVID-19 era.

Shedding more light on the conference, Amoke Alaga said, “At the conference, we would be discussing ways that stakeholders in the industry can scale-up on their brand positioning to attract premium clients. We would also talk about pricing, innovation, vision boarding, leveraging mentorship windows, and other important issues. Participants would also be privileged to be added to the convener’s one year mentorship tribe, to enhance their business growth.

“Resource persons already pegged down for the conference include Bisola Bamidele (Bisbam Communications), Foluso Ogunjimi (Sokoyokoto), Foluke Akinpelu, (Narrator Global), Chioma Obiefuna, (Kristafield Events), and Asimiyu Idowu (Alaga Okunrin).

“This edition will have a masterclass, followed by an award dinner where outstanding industry leaders would be celebrated.”

Recall that the maiden edition of the conference held last year in Lagos and it was well attended by participants from states such as Oyo, Ekiti, Ogun and Lagos.
