Courtney Shanade Salter, known professionally as Ari Lennox, American singer has been arrested at Amsterdam Schiphol airport after she claimed to have been ‘racially profiled’.
The ‘Shea Butter Baby’ singer was taken into custody on Monday for disturbing public order, according to Dutch military police.
Lennox, in a Tweet on Monday, had accused airline staff of racial discrimination.
“I’m being arrested in Amsterdam for reacting to a woman racially profiling me.
“They hate black people.
“They’re arresting me.”
The 30-year-old added that she just wanted to go home.
“I just want to go home. I’ll never leave my house again,” she said.
