Alaba snubs Barcelona, agrees to join Real Madrid
Bayern Munich defender, David Alaba has reportedly agreed to join Spanish giants, Real Madrid at the end of the 2020/21 football season.
According to Sky, the Austrian has passed up on the chance to join rivals Barcelona and will sign a five-year deal with Madrid.
Alaba who spent 13 years with the Bavarians would be leaving as a free agent when his contract with the German giants expires at the end of the season.
The 28-year-old has made 428 appearances for Bayern and is on the verge of his 10th Bundesliga title with the club world champions.
