Ahmed Musa donates N3m to Kano Pillars

Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa generously contributed a cash gift of N3 million to the Nigeria Premier Football League side, Kano Pillars after the matchday 16 clash between Kano Pillars and Kwara United. 

The Sai Masu Gida emerged victorious with a 2-1 win over the Harmony Boys at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano, thanks to goals from Ibrahim Yuga and Mohammed Aminu.

Ahmed Musa personally presented the donation to the Kano Pillars team after the thrilling encounter, expressing his desire to motivate the team in their pursuit of success in the league. The 30-year-old forward’s gesture reflects his commitment to supporting and uplifting Nigerian football.

Following this win, Kano Pillars climbed to the sixth position on the NPFL table with a total of 25 points. 

Looking ahead, Abdul Maikaba’s side is set to face Plateau United on matchday 17 in Kano, aiming to maintain their momentum in the league.
