Ahmad Ahmad to appeal FIFA ban
Reports coming from Madagascar has it that the banned president of the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF), Ahmad Ahmad, has concluded an arrangement to appeal the decision.
The former Football Association president of Madagascar was banned from all football related activities for five years on Monday by FIFA citing numerous gross misconduct.
Ahmad who is still recuperating from the Coronavirus he suffered few weeks on Tuesday morning met with his lawyers and they set to appeal the case at the Court of Arbitration for Sports( CAS).
After his suspension on Monday his first vice president Constant Omari was announced as the temporary president of the Confederation.
Ahmad emerged the president of CAF after he defeated Issa Hayatou in 2017 and his tenure has witnessed loads of internal crisis.
