Senate President Bukola Saraki has said what Nigeria needs in its current situation is the best of the economic minds in the country.
He indicated that the current economic realities of the country does not discriminate based on political affiliations. He said while it is easy to discuss the cause of the recession, what the senate will focus on at the resumption of its sitting is the solution to the problem.
He made the statement as part of his message for the Eid-el-Kabir in Ilorin Kwara State.
He said, “We need all our best economic minds on board. This recession exists across party lines. It does not know APC or PDP.
“Journalists have an important role to play in informing the Nigerian public by choosing facts over sensationalism.
“Today, I enjoin all Nigerians to continue working to strengthen our collective bond and unity.”
