Abule Ado explosion: Principal of Bethlehem Girls College dies while rescuing students after pipeline explosion 



Presently ongoing is the burial of Reverend Sister Henrietta Alokha, Principle of Bethlehem Girls’ College who died saving the students of the school from the Abule Ado explosion.

The Mass is presently ongoing at the Sacred Heart Novitiate chapel, Atani -Uromi, Edo state.

Rev Sr Henrietta who was born on May 11, 1967, died on March 15, 2020, during the horrific explosion that occurred in Abule Ado on March 15th

The explosion damaged the school and students were injured and she thought she had rescued all the Children, but after a headcount, some were missing and she courageously went back in to rescue them and did just that but the roof collapsed on her and ended her journey on earth.

The funeral is quiet because of the Coronavirus Brouhaha but a Memorial mass will be held in her honour after the ban on funerals and weddings or gathering of a large crowd is lifted.
