FEC observe a minute silence for Lagos explosion victims, Emovon
The Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, moments ago, observed a minute silence to honour victims of Sunday’s Abule-Ado explosion in Lagos State.
The meeting, which is being presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari, used the same minute silence to honour the memory of former Minister of Science and Technology, Professor Emmanuel Emovon.
Professor Emovon, who died on February 20, 2020, at the age of 90 years, was Minister of Science and Technology under the rule of Military President, General Ibrahim Babangida.
He was also Vice-Chancellor at the University of Jos, Plateau State.
He would have clocked 91 years on February 24.
