Awesome, inspiring: Twitter users commend viral photo of mother, daughter pilots

The viral picture of a mother and her daughter who were both pilot and co-pilot on a Delta Air Lines aircraft from Los Angeles to Atlanta in the United States of America, has excited social media users.

Their picture was shared on Twitter by the Chancellor of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, John Watret (@ERAUWatret) who was also on the flight.

He wrote:

“Just flew from LAX to ATL on Delta piloted by this mother daughter flight crew. Great flight. Inspiring for you women.”

Although the identity of the two ladies was unknown, since their picture appeared on the social media, it has continued to receive encomiums from Twitter users who described it as “awesome“, “adorable“, “priceless” among other pleasant commendations.

A Nigerian, Tochukwu Anuniru described it as “Awesome,” and said:

“this is the wish and desire of every parent. I am happy for them, mother and daughter. Will show this tweet to my kids and wife.”

A Twitter user, Chris Nicholas wrote:

“Good to see. Great one for their family album. Lovely story too.”

Fernando Mendoza tweeted:

“How about a big congratulations for a mother daughter team! Thats a great accomplishment, I don recall many parent decendant ( is that politically correct enough) flight crews Have tons of fun the both of you and a great career to both of them.”

Canis VY said:

“Inspiring for all of our daughters out here. I love this. I have a feeling she gets the “mom eye” sometimes. ???. Moms will be moms.”
