Lagos building collapse: 11-year-old girl comes back to life after she was proclaimed dead by emergency personnel
An eleven-year-old girl who was one of the casualties of the three storey building collapse in Lagos Island miraculously came back to life after she was pronounced dead.
According to our reporter, litlle Taofeekat Rasheed was proclaimed dead by emergency personnel and was about to be wheeled to the morgue but on the insistence of the family, who forbids embalmment according to Islamic rites she was handed over to the family.

Rasheed, however, showed signs of life as she faintly opened her eyes.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation was carried out on her and she was immediately wheeled to the emergency room.
WuzupNaija reports that Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode and his deputy, Dr Oluranti Adebule arrived at the scene of the incident and urged residents to allow rescue agencies to do their work effectively.
