Leaving Neverland: HBO releases documentary of Micheal Jackson’s alleged underage sexual abuse [Watch]
Despite legal threats, HBO/Channel 4 production has released the first official trailer for “Leaving Neverland”, a documentary about Michael Jackson’s alleged sexual abuse of young boys.
The documentary which was directed by Dan Reed will air Leaving Neverland next month.
The new trailer is a two-part, four-hour film that premiered at Sundance film festival last month, featuring the testimonies of James Safechuck and Wade Robson, who allege that Jackson sexually abused them as children.
Over the week’s varied reactions have trailed the controversial documentary, from a standing ovation at the festival to critical reviews on social media.
After its premiere, the late superstar’s estate slammed the film.
