Suspected armed robbers have reportedly shot dead a man in Imo State during a robbery operation.
The yet-to-be-identified man met the unfortunate end on Tuesday morning.
It was gathered that the hoodlums attacked the man along Owerri-road in Okigwe area before shooting him dead in the course of a robbery operation.
The robbers immediately fled the scene after gunning down the victim.
The incident which caused panic in the area was contained by men of the Nigerian police force who arrived the scene to evacuate the corpse of the victim.
